Shipping Manager
MMI is an industrial contractor and steel fabrication company based in Mesa, Arizona. MMI has been in business since 1974 and continues to grow each year. We are very proud of the more than 135 loyal members of our team and are looking for individuals to contribute at a very high level.
MMI is looking to hire a Shipping Manager who has moderate computer skills and adequate experience using Word, Excel and Outlook as well as using a smart phone. The Shipping Manager should possess the ability to give and receive direction in a manner that is professional and embodies our core values. Be solution minded and capable of providing helpful feedback to other company leaders who may benefit from his or her ideas or resources.
The Shipping Manager will implement a structured system for receiving and sharing information with pertinent persons. This person will oversee a small crew to complete the material prep and coatings as well as the loading of finished materials for shipment therefore, forklift experience is a must. The Shipping Manager will communicate several times a day with Freight Manager, VP of Fabrication Services and Fabrication Manager about the flow of material, destination and deadlines. Must be able to pass a drug test.
Pay Range: $ 22.00 - $25.00 an hour depending on experience
