JOB SUMMARY

We are looking for a Nurse Manager who will plan, coordinate and supervise the delivery of nursing care within the treatment facility.

RESPONSIBILITIES

You will serve patients daily in a multitude of ways: 

• Trouble-shoot problems/situations that arise on the unit
• Help with staffing or coverage
• Supervise the medical aspects of treatment plan and implementation for each patient on the unit
• Review incident reports and follow up through established process - Provide clinical expertise in medical management, crises and behavior management techniques - Assist with infection control
• Monitor weekly data collected by RN’s and supervisors and present trends to Director of Nursing
• Mange vendor relations and Pharmaceutical Services
• Manage new Nurse Orientation
• Assist Nurse Director with various duties, as designated by Nurse Director, including but not limited to monthly audits, checklists, communication to staff and reviewing/updating policies and procedures
• Assist in providing feedback and assuring compliance with Policies and Procedures that meet accreditation and licensing requirements, and implementing corrective action plans, as required.

REQUIREMENTS

• Active Colorado Registered Nursing License
• Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing. Master’s Degree preferred
• 1-2 years of experience with mental health population
• Management experience preferred
• Computer proficiency
