JOB SUMMARY

As a Primary Therapist, you can expect to be a part of team that delivers hands-on treatment, therapy sessions and/or support to our patients in one of our many centers around the nation, or virtually through our tele-behavioral health platform.

The Primary Therapists conducts individual, family, and group therapy (adults, children and adolescents) on topics such as mood, anxiety, stress and eating disorders. Our Primary Therapists develop each patient’s individualized treatment plan and work with interdisciplinary treatment team to implement the plan.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Conduct psychotherapy including individual, group and family therapy
• Conduct comprehensive assessments and treatment planning for each patient on case load:
• Complete biopsychosocial, self-harm and suicide assessments
• Create individualized treatment plan with specific and measurable goals in collaboration with treatment team members
• Create treatment agreements, support plans or behavior plans as needed
• For each patient on case load, complete clinical paperwork including:
  • Treatment plans
  • Individual and Family Therapy progress notes and group notes
  • Wellness plan and aftercare plan
  • Discharge summary
• Attend treatment team meetings and treatment team rounds to coordinate patients care with interdisciplinary team

REQUIREMENTS 

• Washington State Clinical License (Independent, Associate or Intern Phase)
• A Master’s degree in Counseling or related field
• Experience in a higher level of care preferred
• Experience with individual and family therapy
• Experience with CBT, DBT, and/or ACT
• Computer proficiency
