JOB DETAILS
- Cardiology Clinic in Torrance, CA
- Full Time Direct Hire Permanent Position
- Monday – Friday, Day Shift
- Must be fluent in Spanish or Korean
- Pay Rate: $20.00 per hour
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Greet and check-in patients
- Schedule and confirm appointments
- Verify insurance
- Process co-payments
- Take vital signs
- Document patient information accurately
- Draw blood
- Assist MD and PA during treatment
- Adhere to HIPAA
- Perform other duties as needed
REQUIREMENTS
- Graduate of a Medical Assistant program
- Prior Medical Assisting experience in a medical clinic
- Knowledgeable with Medical Insurance Verification procedures preferred but not required
- Proficient with Microsoft Office programs
- Good grasp of medical terminology
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Outstanding multi-tasker
- Ability to promote camaraderie in the office
- Great work ethic
- Professional demeanor
- Able to work productively independently and without constant supervision
- Bilingual in Spanish or Korean Required
