JOB SUMMARY

Immediate opening for Assistant Director of Nursing to work in a Medical Daycare. Position requires the ADON to ensure that patient client needs for nursing services are met according to the PPEC regulations and that quality of care is provided.

Reports to the Director of Nursing and Regional Director

Hours of operation between 6:00 AM -6 :30 PM (Monday through Friday)

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Assist the DON in the ongoing nursing assessment and evaluation of children attending the center. Involves hands -on patient care daily.
• Assist the DON in the development and implementation of plans of care in conjunction with the physician in the care team if requested to assist. 
• Deliver nursing services according to the physician orders. 
• Assist with the teaching, supervising and counseling the patient family members and staff to increase the confidence and competence in caring for the child with special needs. 
• Support effective relationships within the family dynamic. 
• Assist the DON in the supervision and training of other nursing services personnel required.  
• Assist in Implementing the QA activities to ensure care is delivered and is appropriate meets company policies and state and federal regulations. 
• Assists the DON in maintaining clinical records and personal files in compliance with company policies state and federal requirements. 
• Assist the DON in working with Marketing team to help improve and maintain census within the center.
