JOB SUMMARY
The Director of Talent leads all recruiting efforts for us, including the development and implementation of strategic talent acquisition tactics to attract the topmost talent, foster culture and support business growth and operations.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provides leadership to establish our employment brand and develops systematic approaches to communicate value proposition and a consistent business image in the eye of potential talent through job descriptions, employment advertisements, career sites, recruitment events and social media platforms.
- Drives continuous improvement, identifies opportunities and implements processes to increase our recruiting effectiveness and efficiency while also ensuring the delivery of our operational standards. Additionally, oversees compliance of all internal, external and state and federal regulations concerning the recruitment and selection process and stays up to date regarding industry trends.
- Leads the development and execution of comprehensive recruiting strategies to guarantee that we attract and hire the topmost talent in the industry. Drives the strategic direction and examines hiring trends in anticipation of our response to labor market changes..
- Manages the presentation, selection, offer, negotiation, closing and administrative components involved in making a hire. Accountabilities include sourcing and screening candidates, acting as a consultant to hiring managers throughout the hiring process, providing detailed assessments for candidates and recommending offer amounts. Also accountable for managing interactions with candidates in accordance with employment laws and in a manner that fosters transparency, simplicity, fairness and respect.
- Partners with HR, leadership executives and key stakeholders to understand current and future workforce planning requirements. In this collaborative capacity, also partners with the legal department to guarantee compliance with state and federal regulations in its recruitment efforts. Critical to achieving excellent results is the ability to build strong relationships in a rapidly changing and constantly evolving healthcare space.
REQUIREMENTS
- Interpersonal Skills: Ability to work in a fast-paced and constantly evolving healthcare space, be innovative and willing to take risks, be welcoming to change, and be proactive and self-motivated working under minimal supervision. This role requires excellent communication and problem-solving skills, a strong executive presence, and the ability to work comfortably with clinicians, senior business leadership and executives, demonstrating composure under stress and in times of ambiguity.
- Leadership/People Skills: Must have exceptional leadership skills, demonstrating an ability to influence and to drive recruitment efforts in an aligned direction. This role requires the ability to build meaningful and lasting relationships naturally, an ability to relate easily, allowing for easier acquisition and retention of valuable talent. ·
- Technology/Analytical Skills: Must be technologically adept and have a passion for conducting research and deriving actionable insights from raw data and information.
- Education and Experience · Master’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field required
- SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP.
- At least 5 years of experience in a senior recruiting position, preferably in the healthcare industry – experience with Nurse Practitioners a plus. The candidate must have proven and successful experience managing full-cycle recruiting processes consisting of sourcing, screening, on-boarding, coaching, and budgeting.
- Experience directly managing recruitment managers and teams, leading to the acquisition of the best talents in the market.
