New Construction Door and Hardware Detailer:

Phoenix, AZ 85027 • General Labor • Information Technology (IT) • Public Service & Security • Full-Time

Salary Range:  $50,000 - $70,000 year

Lanmor Services is expanding their business which has created a need for a full-time Detailer for Div 8 projects in the Phoenix area. Company is established (19+ years) and in a stable industry that is growing! This top employer offers excellent pay and benefits along with a professional work environment. This is a full time position with biweekly pay. Company Hours: 7:00 a.m. to 5:00. p.m. This position will have some after hours work depending on work load and project schedule.

The ideal candidate will have minimum 3 years experience with New Construction / Aftermarket Construction within the Div 8 door and hardware industry. This position will review and redline all provided detailed door and hardware schedules and coordinate opening requirements as set forth within the contract documents (plans, specifications, and addenda) and other related information concerning an individual project. Provide takeoffs regarding Doors, Door Hardware and Electrified Hardware, provide submittals to contractors. Must have had actual field experience, experience with visio and/or auto cad lite. Candidate will be able to multi task in a fast paced environment. Be able to poses a valid AZ drivers license, be able to pass a pre-employment drug test. Must be able to speak, read and write in English. Benefits include health and dental insurance as well as company provided holidays and PTO along with 401k.

Qualifications:

- Must be able to read and understand construction contracts and interpret blue prints, specifications and plans.
- Knowledge of door, frame and hardware applications as they relate to UL, fire code, building code, ADA, life safety and other restrictions that relate to the general commercial construction industry.
- Knowledge of electronic hardware based out of Division 8 & Division 28.
- Knowledge of Automatic operators, Integration and relay logic is highly preferred.
- Ability to multitask and handle all types of scopes of projects Must possess a great attention to detail
- Good mathematical skills in relationship to all facets of the Commercial Door/Frame Industry.
- Knowledge of industry related software; as well as Microsoft office; Excel and Outlook.
- Must have excellent oral communication skills and positive interpersonal skills.
- Effective time management skills
- 3+years of New Construction experience.
- Knowledge and Understanding of Access Control, a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and organization.
- Ability to work with and for numerous people at one time.
- Upbeat and personable.
- Computer literate.
- Intermediate to advanced in Visio and/or auto cad.
- Basic Word.
