Valley Handy, the maintenance company for Capstone Realty, is a hiring for an experienced handy person for an immediate need. Our team currently services the Phoenix Metro area and does handyman services for occupied and vacant rental properties. 

Our ideal handy person will have experience in plumbing, electrical, and/or mechanical systems of a residential home. Painting experience is a big plus. 

This person will be working independently, doing light to mid sized jobs for a residential property management company. The work is consistent. You will be traveling to different homes throughout the Valley in your vehicle and doing repairs and maintenance as needed. 

• Clean/restore recently vacated residential properties.

• Change bulbs, locks/keys

• Perform maintenance and light repairs on occupied properties

Requirements:

• High School Diploma or GED Equivalency is highly preferred

• Basic understanding of electrical, plumbing or HVAC systems

• A current, valid clean Driver’s license is required , and must be maintained throughout the course of employment

• Two (2) years of experience in residential construction/maintenance/repair; an Educational or Trade certificate in a related field may be substituted for two (2) years of experience

• Strong mechanical aptitude, and well-rounded hands on mechanical skills

• Ability to work well with people, with strong customer service skills

• Ability to use a smartphone for scheduling and coordination 

Hours are Monday through Friday 8AM - 5PM
