Marketing and Admin Assistant – Dr. Kelly’s Vet

Position Summary: 

Dr. Kelly’s Surgical Unit is looking for a Marketing and Admin Assistant to support a busy and rapidly growing practice.  The role of the Marketing Assistant is to work with the CEO and Operation Manager to handle web, graphic, print, social, and other marketing tasks on a needed basis. With the direction and cooperation of the Operations Manager, the Marketing Assistant will use the Dr. Kelly’s brand guidelines and style “voice” to create consistent and appropriate materials to highlight the company. This position will be approximately 70% marketing responsibilities and 30% administrative responsibilities.   This is a hybrid in-office/work-from-home role based in the Scottsdale area.  

WHAT You Will be Doing:

• Marketing:
  • Direction and maintenance of social media accounts on FB and IG 
    • @drkellysvet, Drkellysvettucson
  • Capture and create short-form videos for use in Reels, Stories, and YouTube page.
  • Use these videos to start and curate a Tik-Tok Presence. 
  • Create and Schedule email campaigns
  • Be the direct contact for our media partner for reports and SEO
  • Website updates and some content writing
  • Source and prepare print media
• Schedule Management:
  • Schedule mobile unit locations out 2-3 months in advance 
  • Maintain excellent relationships with our location partners
• Administrative Duties:
  • Procurement of clinical & promotional materials and other supplies
  • Be a Team Player!  No job is too big or too small in this position!

The nitty-gritty . . .

• Exceptional communication skills 
• Experience creating graphics in Canva or Adobe Suite
• 1-2 years of marketing experience
• Have positive, can-do attitude
• Bachelor’s Degree preferred
• Vet Med Experience – experience in the vet med field is a big advantage
