About the Role:

The Practice Manager position is responsible for the daily activities and future wellbeing of Dr. Kelly’s Mobile Surgical Unit in the Tucson area. The manager will maintain the work efficiency of the business from an administrative and operational level and will report to the Operations Manager. The Practice Manager will be the primary point of contact for the unit nursing leads and additional support staff in their market. The manager will work in conjunction with the Operations Manager, Pet Resource Specialist Manager and Technician manager.

Key Areas of Responsibility YOU will focus on:

Business Administration

• Responsible for day-to-day business operations of the practice in the Tucson area.
• Develop, measure, track and report on KPI’s
• Be the primary connection between market staff, clients, and partners
• Purchasing and inventory management for each unit
• Unit location scheduling - nurture existing location partnerships, and find new parking locations when needed
• Staff Management - Recruit, hire, train, schedule and manage staff
• Maintenance
• Maintain logs of equipment repair and maintenance
• Responsible for scheduling fleet and equipment maintenance
• Ensure equipment is maintained and repaired in a timely manner
• Respond to and triage IT issues – provide direction as needed
• Maintain and audit logs and invoices of controlled substances

Accounting

• Managing Gusto (payroll) for your teams
• Oversee light invoicing and billing
• Handle daily/weekly closeout

Coordination

• Coordinate daily outside lab pickup
• Communicate with partner businesses about dates and location times
• Coordinate weekly cremation/sharps disposal
