Location: Impact Physical Therapy (2 locations)

Job Type: Part-time, hybrid remote and in person between two clinics 

(Between 20-30 hours/week)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and review compensation and benefits packages 

  • Coordinate pre-employment processing including preparing offer letters and conducting background checks,

  • Manage onboard process for new hires including onboarding paperwork and records in the HRIS system 

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records in the HRIS system.

  • Benefits administration including health and life insurance programs and 401K. 

  • Manage company policies and handbook 

  • Assist with employee relations, addressing employee inquiries, and providing support on HR policies and procedures.

  • Coordinate and assist with the implementation of HR programs and initiatives, such as performance reviews, training sessions, and employee engagement activities.

  • Prepare and maintain HR documentation, including employment contracts, job descriptions, and personnel files.

  • Respond to questions, requests, and concerns from employees and management regarding company and Human Resources programs, policies, and guidelines.

  • Manage documentation in the HRIS system including onboarding new hires, employee job status changes, agency temps, and terminations.

  • Ensure company compliance with local, state and federal HR best practices, laws and regulations

  • Process bimonthly payroll

  • Enter deductions, bonus or other calculations

  • Oversee PTO and Sick time accrued and used 

  • Manager 401K retirement plan and compliance

  • Other duties as assigned    

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, or a related field.

  • 2+ years of experience in an HR and/or payroll role.

  • Strong understanding of HR processes, best practices, laws and regulations.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Proficiency in HRIS systems and Microsoft Office Suite.

  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.

  • Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • HR certification (e.g., PHR, SHRM-CP) is a plus.
