JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Medical billing with Insurance Account Receivables
· Coordination and evaluation of billing and collection activities
· Monitoring patient accounts
· Working with payers through claim processing to ensure accurate reimbursement
· Ensuring collections are accurate and up to date
· Payment posting
· Working appeals and claim adjudication
· Analyzing financials of practice
Qualified Candidates MUST HAVE:
· 1 years minimum of experience as a medical biller or in collections
· Experience working with ICD-9 and CPT Codes
· Working knowledge of medical insurance & medical terminology
· Working knowledge of private practice billing
· Good understanding of Medicare and Workers Compensation
· Strong organization skills
· Proficiency in various kinds of billing software
· Strong skills on the computer
· Ability to analyze financials and make presentations to providers
