Are you a strategic leader with a passion for building high-performing sales teams from the ground up? We are searching for an exceptional Director of Sales Development to spearhead the creation and rapid scaling of our new SDR department. This is an exciting opportunity to build a foundation for sustainable sales growth by establishing a repeatable and optimized lead generation process.

Responsibilities:

  • Establish the foundation:
    • Develop comprehensive compensation and goal structures for the SDR team.
    • Define clear messaging, targeting strategies, and ideal customer profiles.
    • Craft compelling sales campaigns, including email sequences, call scripts, and social media outreach strategies.
    • Design and implement efficient round robin lead distribution and list views within CRM systems.
  • Build and lead a high-performing team:
    • Recruit, hire, and onboard two initial SDRs, fostering a collaborative and results-oriented environment.
    • Provide ongoing coaching, feedback, and training to empower the team to achieve peak performance.
    • Develop and implement effective performance management systems to track progress and identify areas for improvement.
  • Drive pipeline generation:
    • Partner with marketing and demand generation teams to optimize lead generation efforts.
    • Analyze campaign performance and test different strategies to maximize lead quality and quantity.
    • Continuously refine the sales development process for increased efficiency and effectiveness.

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience in B2B sales leadership, with a proven track record of building and scaling successful sales teams.
  • Demonstrated expertise in developing and implementing sales methodologies, including cold calling, email prospecting, and social selling.
  • Strong understanding of B2B lead generation strategies and campaign optimization techniques.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
  • Data-driven approach with a strong analytical mind and the ability to identify and implement process improvements.
  • Experience using CRM and sales automation tools.
