Per Diem Music Therapist – Hospice Care

Soleil Hospice is seeking a Board-Certified Music Therapist (MT-BC) to join our compassionate interdisciplinary team on a per diem basis. This role uses the power of music to support patients and families at the end of life, enhancing comfort, dignity, and emotional well-being.

Responsibilities

• Provide individualized music therapy sessions to hospice patients and families in homes, facilities, or inpatient settings.

• Support relaxation, pain management, emotional expression, and family connection.

• Collaborate with the hospice care team and document patient progress.

• Offer bereavement and grief support through music when appropriate.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Music Therapy (AMTA-accredited).

• Board-Certified Music Therapist (MT-BC) required.

• Hospice or healthcare experience preferred.

• Compassionate, flexible, and comfortable working independently in varied settings.

• Reliable transportation required.
