Job Description

Heads up Roofing, a leader in providing top-tier roofing solutions, is excited to announce an opening for a dedicated and dynamic Sales Representative. Our team is looking to expand its reach and increase the depth of our customer relationships. This position is full-time and is based out of our central office, necessitating the presence of the individual appointed; hence this is not a remote job. The chosen candidate will play a crucial role in driving our company's revenue by increasing sales performance, building and maintaining customer relationships, and consistently promoting our extensive range of roofing products and services.

This role demands a proactive, energetic, and highly communicative individual who is comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, where they will be empowered to operate with autonomy while strategically aligning with broader business goals. As Sales Representative, you will be at the forefront of market engagements, responsible for delivering both short-term success and long-term growth.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Engage with potential clients to foster insights into their roofing needs and propose tailor-made solutions to enhance customer satisfaction.
  • Lead sales presentations to illustrate the benefits and features of our roofing products and support materials, enhancing customer engagement and boosting sales efforts.
  • Participate actively in trade shows, exhibitions, and networking events to represent the brand and expand our market presence.
  • Monitor customer, market, and competitor activity weekly to provide detailed forecasts on revenue potential and territory performance to the management team.
  • Work closely with the marketing department to refine sales strategies and approaches based on data-driven insights and market trends.
  • Maintain and expand the CRM database with accurate client details and interaction logs to aid effective follow-ups and repeat business opportunities.
  • Negotiate contracts and close agreements to maximize profitability and volume while adhering to legal and company guidelines.
  • Regularly meet and exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets to ensure company revenue objectives are met.
  • Provide responsive and knowledgeable customer service and product advocacy to strengthen customer loyalty and enhance brand reputation.
  • Take responsibility for personal development and career growth, staying informed of industry trends, and participating in professional development opportunities.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in sales, specifically in roofing or related construction industries, with a demonstrable track record of achieving sales targets.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the capability to negotiate and influence potential clients positively.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to prepare reports and present effectively to varied audiences.
  • Highly motivated and target driven, with a solid commitment to driving sales growth.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Communications, or a relevant field preferred.
  • Deep understanding of sales principles and customer service practices, with ability to maintain customer relationships after initial sale.
  • Technical expertise regarding roofing systems and materials with an ability to relate product benefits succinctly to clients.
  • Strong organizational skills, with proficiency in managing multiple priorities simultaneously without compromising on quality or deadlines.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software.
  • A willingness to travel as needed and possession of a valid driver’s license.
