Join Our Growing Team at Cactus Club Subs! Cactus Club Subs is seeking a part-time Recruiting Assistant to help us expand our network of exceptional substitute teachers and caregivers. We plan to expand this role as our company grows!

Position Overview: As a Recruiting Assistant, you will play a key role in our hiring process, assisting with sourcing, screening, and onboarding candidates for our substitute teacher roles. This position offers flexible hours and the opportunity to contribute to our mission of providing reliable staffing solutions for families and childcare centers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Candidate Sourcing: Actively search for qualified candidates through job boards, social media, and networking platforms.
  • Screening Applications: Review resumes and applications to identify candidates that meet our criteria, particularly those with a background in education or childcare. Manage ATS efficiently and keep detailed notes.
  • Conduct Phone Screens: Perform phone screenings to assess candidates' qualifications and fit for our roles. 
  • Coordination of Interviews: Schedule interviews between candidates and Cactus Club Subs management. Follow up with candidates who have not scheduled an interview.
  • Onboarding Support: Assist in the onboarding process for new hires, ensuring they have all necessary documentation and information to get started.
  • Database Management: Maintain and update our candidate database in our CRM system.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 6 months to 2 years of experience in recruitment or a related field.
  • Background or experience in education or childcare is a plus.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Proficiency in using online recruitment platforms and tools.
  • Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.

Location: Position will start in-person for a few weeks to conduct training. Once everyone feels comfortable, this position can become a hybrid/remote role. We are looking for someone with excellent communication and time management skills that can build a strong relationship of trust.
