We’re seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Entry-Level Communications Assistant to join our dynamic team. In this role, you’ll support a variety of public outreach, communications, and community engagement initiatives for a mission-driven organization that’s making a real difference in local communities.

Responsibilities
Assist in the planning, coordination, and execution of public-facing events.
Represent the organization at events—welcome attendees, answer questions, and collect community feedback.
Work closely with internal teams to maintain consistent messaging and effective communication.
Support post-event tasks: update contact databases, manage data entry, and draft summary reports.
Qualifications
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Comfortable speaking in front of groups and engaging with diverse audiences.
Highly organized, with attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks.
Friendly, professional, and dependable.
Willingness to work occasional evenings or weekends for events.
Passion for community engagement, nonprofit communications, or civic participation.
Degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, or related field is a plus—but not required.
