Job Description

First Choice Physical Therapy is excited to announce an open position for a dedicated Physical Therapist. This is a Full-Time role based in our state-of-the-art outpatient facility, equipped with the cutting-edge equipment necessary for modern therapy practices. This is not a remote job, and the selected candidate will be expected to contribute hands-on, patient-centered care in our dynamic and engaging setting.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Assess patient condition by conducting physical examinations and reviewing medical history.
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans based on patient assessments and needs.
  • Instruct and advise patients on therapeutic exercise, manual therapy techniques, and other modalities as necessary.
  • Maintain patient records by documenting their conditions, therapies, and responses.
  • Coordinate with other healthcare professionals to plan, manage, and assess patient treatments.
  • Modify patient treatment plans as progress or setbacks occur.
  • Provide information to patients and families regarding treatment plans and progress.
  • Supervise staff (PTA and Tech) to ensure clean, efficient, and safe operational standards.
  • Stay updated with advancements in physical therapy techniques to modernize care and treatment.
  • Adhere to all federal, state, and local certification requirements and practice ethical standards of the physical therapy profession.

Requirements

  • Licensed Physical Therapist (or eligibility for licensure).
  • Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
  • Proven work or clinical rotation experience delivering patient-centered care in an outpatient setting.
  • Strong understanding of diverse physical therapy techniques and modalities.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a multi-disciplinary health team.
  • Demonstrated commitment to continued education and professional development.
  • Knowledge of and compliance with national, state, and local licensing requirements and regulations.
  • Exceptional organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously.
  • Physical stamina and mobility to perform physically demanding work.
