WeedX Fertilizing is seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Lawn Care Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of lawn care practices, including the identification of weeds, insects, and diseases. This role requires an individual who can work independently, interact with customers professionally, and follow all safety regulations and guidelines for the products used. Key Responsibilities:

• Identify and diagnose common lawn issues, including weeds, insects, and diseases.
• Provide appropriate treatments for lawn care, including fertilization, weed control, and pest management.
• Interact with customers in a professional, friendly manner to ensure satisfaction and address any concerns.
• Document each service performed, including products used and any relevant notes.
• Maintain accurate records of all work performed, including services, products, and customer interactions.
• Safely operate and drive a company vehicle to and from job sites.
• Read and understand product labels and safety data sheets, applying all products in accordance with state regulations and label instructions.
• Wear and properly use required safety equipment at all times while performing job duties.
• Regularly clean and maintain company equipment to ensure its properly functioning.
• Work independently and manage time efficiently to complete scheduled tasks.
• Perform routine maintenance and care of lawns in various weather conditions.
• Work overtime and Saturdays as needed to meet business demands.

Qualifications:

• Knowledge and experience in lawn care, including the identification of weeds, insects, and lawn diseases.
• Ability to diagnose and solve lawn care problems.
• Strong understanding of safety regulations and guidelines regarding lawn care products.
• Ability to read, understand, and follow product labels and safety data sheets.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills, both oral and written.
• Must be able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Valid Driver’s License with a clean driving record.
• Pennsylvania Pesticide License (Core and Category 7) required.
• Ability to lift and carry heavy equipment and materials as needed.
• Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
• Must be willing to work overtime and weekends, as required.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in the lawn care industry, including knowledge of turfgrass management and pest control.
• Additional certifications in pesticide application are a plus.
