The appointed Product Demonstrator will be instrumental in the demonstration of our state-of-the-art smart home products. Duties and Responsibilities

  • Demonstrate the features and benefits of Solana Smart Home products to customers and stakeholders at a variety of settings including showrooms and trade shows.
  • Engage and educate potential customers on how our products can seamlessly integrate into and enhance their living spaces.
  • Gather feedback from demonstrations and relay it to the sales and product development teams to help shape future product offerings and enhancements.
  • Prepare and maintain the demonstration equipment and areas to ensure a clean, enticing product display.
  • Stay abreast of the latest developments in the smart home industry to effectively answer customer queries and maintain a position of expertise.
  • Collaborate with the sales team to understand customer requirements and tailor demonstrations to suit individual needs for optimal customer engagement.
  • Assist in scheduling demonstrations and manage logistics for multiple locations as required.
  • Conduct post-demonstration follow-ups to gauge customer interest and further assist in the sales process.
  • Document daily activities and provide comprehensive reports on demonstration outcomes, audience reactions, and potential leads.
  • Adhere to all company guidelines and policies during demonstrations and interact professionally with all team members and customers.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Product Demonstrator, Sales Associate, or similar role, preferably in the technology or home automation industry.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of engaging effectively with diverse audiences.
  • Strong understanding of smart home technology and its applications in everyday living.
  • Ability to quickly learn and adapt to new products and services.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to handle multiple tasks and locations simultaneously with keen attention to detail.
  • Able to work independently as well as part of a team in a high-energy, fast-paced environment.
  • Physical stamina and mobility, including the ability to handle heavy equipment and engage in extensive standing and walking during demonstrations.
  • High school diploma or equivalent; further education or certification in marketing, sales, or a related field is prefered.

  • Commitment to excellent customer service and the ability to work flexibly, including weekends and holidays, as required by the demonstration schedule.
