Duties and Responsibilities

  • Engage directly with potential and existing customers to present and sell Solana Smart Home products and solutions.
  • Travel within sales territory to conduct direct sales activities and product demonstrations.
  • Understand customer needs and offer solutions and support to meet those needs.
  • Create and maintain a list/database of prospect clients; maintaining and expanding the database of the assigned territory.
  • Maintain records of all sales leads and/or customer accounts.
  • Educate customers on how Solana's products can enhance their homes' safety and functionality.
  • Monitor the company’s industry competitors, new products, and market conditions to understand a customer's specific needs.
  • Work closely with the marketing department to help build the brand and communicate client feedback.
  • Participate in team meetings and anecdotal training sessions to improve sales and marketing performance.
  • Develop strategies for more effective sales, both individually and as part of a team.
  • Initiate and cultivate relationships with clients through outreach and follow-ups.

  • Desire to grow and advance within the company; open to potential leadership opportunities.
  • No prior experience in outside sales necessary, though beneficial – comprehensive training provided.
  • Capability to work efficiently in a team environment, supporting and collaborating with other team members.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the aptitude to present information in a clear and convincing manner.
  • Demonstrate high levels of patience and professionalism when dealing with challenging situations or individuals.
  • Must have access to reliable transportation, as this position involves considerable local travel within the assigned territory.
  • Financial motivation – initial strong income potential starts at $3250 per month, with additional incentives and bonuses based on sales performance.
