Position Summary: 

Call on prospects, leads and existing OEM customers to develop and obtain opportunities to advance business development activities.   Develop long-term relationships with clients through managing and interpreting their requirements. Acts as a single point of contact for the customer.  Assists in completing estimates by the date required.  This job requires to manage multiple quote requests and multiple specifications.  Candidate must have very superior organizational and communication skills to manage multiple quotes and follow up calls every week.

We are seeking an experienced Client Services Specialist. This is a commission driven opportunity with a base salary. Please Note: This is NOT an order taking role but rather managing existing clients and finding new ones.

Essential Job Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Calls on prospects, leads, and existing clients to obtain opportunities to quote on part requirements, short and long production jobs, and quote and close clients by building relationships with buyers. (B2B)
  • Follow up on leads and closing opportunities.
  • Keep track of leads and opportunities in the CRM system.
  • Harvest leads and find new customers through cold calls and website visits.
  • Verifies accuracy and finalizes quote packages. Presents information to Senior Management prior to client submission.
  • Maintains assigned customer base by follow up calls to buyers.  Follow up on quotes and obtain purchase orders (PO’S) from buyers for quoted items.   Obtain target prices to price match quotes.  Ability to build relationships with buyers to get on the (AVL) approved vendor list.

Qualifications and Skills Required:

  • B2B inside sales experience.
  • Industrial or OEM sales experience.
  • Bachelor’s degree or verifiable work experience required.
  • Must have superior organizational skills, ability to keep track and manage multiple prospects and quotes etc.  Fast paced industry and work.
  • Some experience using a CRM system or cloud-based systems.
  • Not afraid to pick up the phone and cold call to get an RFQ.
  • Knowledge and experience reading blueprints and understanding geometric tolerances is preferred but not required.  Will train.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills.   Excel, Word, PowerPoint, CRM.
