Plumber Technician Job Description

We’re looking for a skilled and reliable Plumber Technician to join our team. You’ll handle a variety of plumbing tasks, including installing, maintaining, and repairing plumbing systems, water/gas lines, and appliances. The ideal candidate can work independently, diagnose plumbing issues, and maintain high-quality standards.

Responsibilities:

• Install, maintain, and repair plumbing systems, pipes, and fixtures
• Set up supports for pipes, equipment, and fixtures
• Fit and repair house appliances
• Read property blueprints to plan plumbing installations
• Cut, weld, and assemble pipes and fittings
• Inspect plumbing systems for safety, functionality, and code compliance
• Handle customer plumbing requests professionally
• Collaborate with contractors and electricians on plumbing needs

Requirements:

• Valid driver’s license
• High school diploma or GED
• Plumbing education (trade school, college, or military training)
• Reliable, detail-oriented, and organized
• Strong knowledge of plumbing codes and industry standards
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints
• Skilled in using plumbing tools and equipment
• Good communication skills
• Flexible with after-hours, weekend, or holiday work when needed
• Rotating On-Call Schedule
