Have you spent an ungodly number of hours in Fallout 4? Skyrim? Do you know everything there is to know about Naughty Dog or Rockstar? Maybe you consider yourself a FromSoftware connoisseur. If you're a fan of any and everything gaming, we'd love to chat with you about writing scripts for our Youtube channel. This channel focuses on the development of gaming franchises over time by taking a magnifying glass and giving love (or hate) to every. single. one of the games in that franchise.
Here at Clickable we value uniqueness and individuality. We urge any and everyone to let their personality shine through their work. If joining a community fueled by creatives sounds like something you'd be interested in, please fill out the questionnaire linked here and read on!
Scriptwriter Duties & Responsibilities:
Scriptwriter Requirements:
All in all, we aren’t looking for someone that can just present information about these games. You will have to know how to creatively explain the story of their franchises, compare games to one another, as well as find ways to incorporate how an individual game may have impacted the franchise as a whole. All bundled up and tied together through the story of your experience of the games.
Starting Budget: 7¢/word
Deadline: 7 days per script
Workload: 3 - 4 scripts per month
Hiring Process: I'll be hiring multiple writers so please apply ASAP as spots won't last long! Once you have finished the questionnaire (linked above), I'll be in contact about the hiring process! For the sake of transparency, the first step in that hiring process is an unpaid trial write, wherein you put together a brief snippet of a script over The Simpsons Franchise (I will provide further details about this when we get in contact) and it's just used for us to get an idea about what your video would look like (at least on the scripting side of things). Beyond this, it serves to give you a feel for the type of content we're looking to produce! Following this (and any potential revisions), if we like what we're seeing, we'll move you onto a paid trial, where you'll be assigned a full script. We'll check in part-ways through and if things are still looking golden, you'll be fully on-boarded! If anyone has any questions in regards to the hiring process, I am happy to answer them!
As the channel grows, you will be compensated accordingly (Pay raise, performance bonuses, etc...).
If this doesn't sound quite up your alley, check out the Clickable Website! We may have openings for a different project more suited to your interests!
In the meantime, thank y'all for applying and I look forward to working with ya!
