The Role: 

This individual will be responsible for the design, development, and maintenance of client websites and web-based projects. This team member will have experience as a full-stack developer with a primary focus on back-end programming and technical aspects of websites, like functionality and performance. They will collaborate closely with designers and content team members to ensure the website functionality aligns with client project goals and brand identity. They will stay updated in the latest web development languages, trends and technology to deliver high-quality, user-friendly online solutions for our agribusiness clients.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Combination of Front-End & Back-End Skills: proven programming experience with in depth knowledge of modern HTML, CSS, JS, etc. and server-side languages, APIs, databases. 

• Strong experience in Wordpress site development

• A solid understanding of how web applications work including security, session management, and best development practices

• DevOps Knowledge: Understanding how to manage the deployment pipeline, scalability, and monitoring of applications.

• Proficiency in debugging code and using tools to troubleshoot website and application issues, such as Chrome Developer Tools and network diagnostics or analytic tools

• Understanding how to optimize the speed of websites (e.g., lazy loading, minimizing HTTP requests, caching strategies).

• SEO Basics: Knowing how to write semantic HTML, using appropriate tags, and ensuring websites are search engine-friendly.

• UX/UI & Design Thinking: Ability to design user-friendly and customer-centric solutions.

• Strong organizational skills to juggle multiple tasks within the constraints of  timelines and budgets with business acumen

• Ability to work and thrive in a fast-paced environment, learn rapidly and master diverse web technologies and techniques

• Communication & Soft Skills: Consulting, problem-solving, storytelling, and collaboration.

• Client-Focused Skills: Relationship management, training, and solution customization.

• 5+ years of experience in corporate or agency web development
