The role of the Estimator reports to the Sales Team Lead. The role of the Estimator is to obtain
leads and convert them to clients through our four-step proven process. Perform the roof
estimate, provide several options to the customer via our Better, Best, Basic pricing strategy.
Build strong relationships with customers by excellent communication, follow up and follow
through. Produce sales in accordance with monthly targets set forth by your Team Lead and
Leadership Team. Responsibilities are not limited to and subject to change without notice in
accordance with company needs.
Responsibilities:
● Perform Estimates for Roof Replacement with intention of obtaining the Sale
● Build rapport and trust with clients
● Build and maintain relationships with various Professional Partners for Networking
purposes
● Ensure ALL missed calls/messages are returned the same day
● Enter Leads in Rooflink (CRM)
● Manage company generated Leads as assigned
● Convert Leads to Prospects via Estimates and then to Client
● Enter relevant information into CRM, including notes and ensure the appropriate people
are tagged
● Research specialty items and source prior to estimate
● Provide roofing, color, style and payment options to the Prospect
● Ensure that the customer has an Exceptional Customer Experience
● Follow up with customers when necessary
● Notify Management of any issues communicated to you by customers or that are
identified by other means
● Prepare Postcards and Letters as assigned for Mailing Campaign (marketing)
● Execute Marketing Strategies set forth by Team Lead and Director of Sales; develop
your own strategies and partner with Team Lead for approval
● Notify Management of any Questions or Concerns
● Jurisdiction Permit requirements and understanding
● Prepare and execute daily Sales Plan.
● Grow Market Share; Maximize Territory Performance
● Ongoing education on ALL roofing systems, installation requirements, current trends,
color and style options to stay up to date on current market and industry trends as well
as product availability
● Stay current on commodity pricing and availability due to constantly changing market
conditions
● Accurate, clear and concise completion of Contract Details; Legal Document
● Develop a process and routine of your own that will best work for your work style and
meets the SOPs
● Attend weekly meetings and other scheduled meetings
Requirements:
● At least 2 years of Sales experience in any field, construction, or industrial sales is a plus
