Duties and Responsibilities
- Perform initial assessments of the carpeted areas to determine the appropriate cleaning methods and necessary materials.
- Prep the cleaning areas by moving furniture, vacuuming carpets, and attending to any pre-treatment processes required.
- Apply stain- and spot-removal agents according to the type of carpet fiber and origin of the stain.
- Communicate effectively with clients to provide recommendations on post-cleaning care and preventive maintenance of carpets.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent educational qualification.
- Proven experience as a Carpet Cleaning Technician or similar role; in-house training will be provided nonetheless.
- Detail-oriented with an analytical approach to solving problem areas in carpet cleaning and maintenance.
- Physical stamina and mobility, including the ability to lift and handle heavy equipment and machinery.
- Effective communication skills to interact positively with team members and clients.
- A professional appearance and courteous manner suitable for interacting with residential clients.
- Commitment to providing exceptional customer service and upholding the company’s reputation through quality work.
- Capability to manage time efficiently and complete tasks within scheduled periods.
