Job Description

Pristine Smiles is excited to announce a new opening for a Registered Dental Assistant. This position offers a unique opportunity to join our dedicated team in providing high-quality dental services to our community. As a key member of our dental team, the Registered Dental Assistant will play a crucial role in maintaining our standards of excellence and expanding our capabilities to meet patient needs.

This full-time role requires a dynamic and skilled professional who is prepared to work on-site. We are looking for a candidate who is passionate about dental health and committed to providing exceptional patient care.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Assist the dentist during a variety of treatment procedures.
  • Set up and break down operatory post-treatment.
  • Create a friendly and professional environment
  • Be respectful to patients, doctor, and team
  • Take dental radiographs (x-rays).
  • Manage infection control - prepare and sterilize instruments and equipment.
  • Experience using Eaglesoft software is a plus
  • Provide patients with instructions for oral care following all dental treatment procedures
  • Take scans of patient's teeth
  • Maintain confidentiality through HIPPA compliance
  • Communicate with patients and suppliers (scheduling appointments, answering the telephone, billing and ordering supplies).
  • Follow office protocol and procedures
  • Work well in a team/ goal oriented environment 
  • Help to provide direct patient care in all dental specialties

Requirements

  • Completion of an accredited dental assistant program recognized by the state or the American Dental Assistants Association.
  • Current registration/license as a Registered Dental Assistant (where applicable).
  • Current CPR certification.
  • Experience of 2 years is a plus and will consider the right applicant with less experience.
