We are looking for a professional who is self-motivated and capable of handling remote work demands with a high level of discipline and productivity. The ideal candidate will possess a refined skill set in roofing techniques specific to commercial infrastructure and a steadfast commitment to safety and quality standards. This role includes the occasional requirement for overnight stays out of town, expected to be around 20% of the time, providing an opportunity to handle diverse projects and challenges.

Duties and Responsibilities

Inspect roof sites to determine the most effective solutions and materials for each project.
Install various commercial roofing systems, including EPDM, TPO, PVC, and specialized coatings, following strict safety and industry guidelines.
Perform regular maintenance and repairs on existing commercial roofing to extend longevity and performance.
Ensure every roofing project complies with environmental, safety, and local building regulations.
Read and interpret manufacturer’s specifications and technical drawings to ensure precise application of roofing materials.
Manage and maintain a clean and organized work site, minimizing disruptions to the surrounding environment and ensuring safety at all times.
Provide detailed project updates and reports regularly, utilizing remote communication tools.
Engage in continuous learning about new materials, methods, and technologies in commercial roofing.

Requirements

Proven experience as a Commercial Roofing Technician or similar role in the roofing industry.
Must possess strong ability to heat weld TPO and PVC, backed by practical skills and previous project portfolios.
Demonstrated ability to read and understand manufacturer specifications and roofing plans.
OSHA 10-certification or the ability to obtain certification before commencement of employment.
Must be capable of managing work sites independently with little to no supervision.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for both customer interaction and remote team collaboration.
Physical fitness, able to handle the manual aspects of the job including lifting, bending, and prolonged standing.
Willingness to travel and stay overnight out of town for approximately 20% of the time.
A valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.
