Sterling Care is a well-established Homemaker and Companion agency seeking passionate hourly caregivers to work in lower Fairfield County, CT.
STARTING HOURLY RATE:$17.00 - $20.00 per hour, depending on experience, type of client, and shift days and times. You must be able to commit to at least three shifts of 6 hours or more.
Job Qualification:
A CNA/ HHA/ PCA License or Training Certification with 1+ year full-time equivalent experience as a CNA/ HHA or PCA
A Companion with 3+ years of full-time equivalent experience as a companion.
Responsibilities may include:
Assist with activities of daily living such as grooming, bathing, dressing, toileting, assisting with meals and transfers.
Provide companionship and socialization.
Provide medication reminders.
Light housekeeping services, including laundry.
Accompany clients to appointments and activities.
Provide ambulation and transferring assistance as needed.
Job Requirements:
You must be able to lift/transfer clients of 125-195 lbs.
Must be at least 18+ years of age.
Must be legally authorized to work within the United States
