Sterling Care is a well-established Homemaker and Companion agency seeking passionate hourly caregivers to work in lower Fairfield County, CT.

STARTING HOURLY RATE: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour, depending on experience, type of client, and shift days and times. You must be able to commit to at least three shifts of 6 hours or more.

Job Qualification:

• A CNA/ HHA/ PCA License or Training Certification with 1+ year full-time equivalent experience as a CNA/ HHA or PCA or
• A Companion with 3+ years of full-time equivalent experience as a companion.

Responsibilities may include:

• Assist with activities of daily living such as grooming, bathing, dressing, toileting, assisting with meals and transfers.
• Provide companionship and socialization.
• Provide medication reminders.
• Light housekeeping services, including laundry.
• Accompany clients to appointments and activities.
• Provide ambulation and transferring assistance as needed.

Job Requirements:

• You must be able to lift/transfer clients of 125-195 lbs.
• Must be at least 18+ years of age.
• Must be legally authorized to work within the United States
• Reliable transportation to work is required
• Alzheimer's/Dementia experience is a plus
• Driver’s License Preferred
