Duties and Responsibilities

• Effectively manage the flow of cars within the service area, ensuring timely movement and handling.
• Wash cars meticulously in preparation for customer presentation after service completion.
• Pick up and deliver parts as required, maintaining accurate records of transactions and timelines.
• Shuttle customers to and from the dealership, demonstrating professionalism and courtesy.
• Maintain the cleanliness of the service shop and lot to ensure a welcoming and safe environment for both staff and customers.
• Conduct routine maintenance and preparation of service area equipment to ensure functionality and safety compliance.
• Coordinate closely with service advisors and technicians, aiding them in various tasks to streamline customer service processes.
• Adhere strictly to dealership policies and safety protocols to create a risk-free work environment.
• Respond promptly to ad hoc tasks as they arise throughout the workday.

Requirements

• Proven ability to follow instructions and execute tasks efficiently under minimal supervision.
• Strong interpersonal skills to ensure effective communication with customers and team members.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record is essential.
• Physical ability to move and manage heavy objects and stand for extended periods.
• High school diploma or equivalent; further certification in automotive services is a plus.
• Previous experience in automotive service environments preferred but not mandatory.
• Ability to adapt quickly to new tasks and processes within the dynamic automotive service industry.
• Commitment to maintaining professional appearance and demeanor at all times.
• Willingness to work flexible schedules including weekends and holidays as required by service demands.
