About the Role:
The Orthodontic Assistant role will help create a seamless, positive experience for every orthodontic patient. You’ll work closely with our doctors and team to ensure exceptional care and efficient operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Orthodontic Patient Care:
Assist in all aspects of orthodontic procedures, including taking impressions, digital scans, placing and removing appliances, and providing clear instructions for home care. Ensure patients feel comfortable and informed throughout their visits.Treatment Coordination: Support the orthodontist during consultations, help explain treatment plans to patients, and ensure all necessary records are collected and maintained.
Appliance Management:
Prepare, sterilize, and maintain orthodontic instruments and equipment. Track and manage inventory for orthodontic supplies.
Patient Education:
Provide patients with detailed instructions on oral hygiene, appliance care, and the importance of compliance during orthodontic treatment.
Administrative Support:
Collaborate with the front office to manage patient appointments, treatment scheduling, and financial arrangements related to orthodontic care.
Team Collaboration:
Work closely with other team members to ensure smooth transitions between dental and orthodontic appointments, fostering a unified patient experience.
