Production Packaging Associate

Las Vegas, NV 89081 • General Labor • Full-Time

Salary Range:  $14 - $16 hour

POSITION SUMMARY

Performs and supports the packaging operations of the production facility. Ensures the visual aesthetic and high quality of the Company product on a day-to-day basis.  Carries out tasks including cleaning, waste disposal, weighing, packaging, and labeling of the Company product.  

 DUTIES/ RESPONSIBILITIES/ TASKS

  • Hand weighing bulk processed material, vape cartridges, and concentrates on a Nevada certified scale, with correct batch/ lot per invoice.

  • Create, package and label vape cartridges, concentrate using the proper product with correct batch/ lot per invoice.

  • Ensures high quality and aesthetic on all medical/recreational cannabis products.

  • Adheres to strict personal hygienic and facility sanitation policies set forth in Division regulations and Company standards in policies and procedures.

  • Works in a focused, quick, and efficient manner.

  • Perform all assigned duties required to ensure a clean and safe production facility. 

  • Responsible for immediately notifying your supervisor if you notice something that is a hygienic hazard to product or employees.

  • Maintains accurate records of all products to ensure proper identification, tracking in the Inventory Control System, and quality control.

  • Assists Production Associate with weighing, packaging, labeling, and other process activities, including the creation of labels in accordance with Division regulations and standards set by Company policies.

  • Takes instruction and direction from the Production Manager and/or Production Associate.

  • Complies with all company policies including confidentiality and non-disclosure.

  • Maintains quality control measures in accordance with Division regulations and standards set by Company policies.

  • Assists with scheduled and random physical inventory for product and/or packaging supplies.

  • Assists managers with research, communications, or any other assigned projects/tasks.

PREFERRED JOB SKILLS 

  • A satisfactory combination of experience and training which clearly demonstrates the ability to perform the above-described duties.  

  • Excellent personal hygiene.

  • Knowledge of Nevada medical/ recreational cannabis laws.  

  • Willing and able to follow the Nevada medical/recreational cannabis laws and regulations.  

  • Ability to perform all assigned tasks for extended periods.  

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, changing, and challenging environment while demonstrating excellent oral and written communication skills.

  • Attention to detail, effective time-management, and ability to multitask.

  • Proficiency in Mac-based and other software as well as work-in-process applications is important.  

  • Ability to do ladder work, stand, sit, kneel, and lift equipment or plants up to 50 pounds for extended periods. 

  • Works under limited direction and supervision.  

To work in this position, the successful candidate must hold or be qualified to obtain a Nevada agent identification card and local jurisdictional work card(s).
