Position Summary:

As a Lounge Server at Smoke and Mirrors, you’ll be more than just a server; you’ll be a guide in our guests' cannabis experience. From introducing cannabis-infused cocktails to assisting with devices such as dab rigs, bongs, and pipes, you’ll bring expertise, warmth, and a VIP level of service to each guest interaction. While primarily responsible for table service, you may also assist with guest check-ins as needed and play a vital role in upholding the upscale atmosphere of Smoke and Mirrors.

Key Responsibilities

• Guest Engagement & Education: Welcome guests, present the menu, and help guide them through the experience, from understanding cannabis offerings to selecting cannabis products, cocktails, and accessories.

• Cannabis Device Knowledge: Educate guests on and assist with the use of various cannabis devices, including dab rigs, bongs, and pipes, ensuring comfort and safety.

• Service Excellence: Take orders, deliver cannabis-infused cocktails, pre-rolls, flower, and accessories to guests’ tables with attentiveness and professionalism.

• Lounge Environment & Cleanliness: Maintain a clean, welcoming space by ensuring tables and surrounding areas are tidy and stocked, following all guidelines to create a comfortable, upscale environment.

• Compliance & Safety: Verify IDs, assist in monitoring guest consumption to prevent overconsumption, and uphold state and local laws to ensure the lounge operates in compliance with all cannabis regulations.

• Promotions & Product Knowledge: Stay informed about new products, promotions, and lounge guidelines; proactively share these with guests to enhance their experience.

• Team Communication: Coordinate with management, security, and other personnel to maintain a safe, organized environment and meet guest needs effectively.

Qualifications

• Experience: 1 year of experience as a host/hostess or server in a high-end hospitality setting preferred.
• Education: High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Certifications: A CCB Agent Card is required; Food Handler Certification is required.
• Requirements: Must be 21+ years of age and reliable transportation
• Skills: Strong communication and customer service skills, knowledge of cannabis products, and familiarity with cannabis devices.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand, walk, stoop, and lift up to 30 pounds throughout shifts.
• Comfortable working in an environment with cannabis smoke and related odors.
• Must adhere to company dress code and appearance standards.
