Brief Description:

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Medical Assistant to join our team at our clinic in Hallandale, Florida. As a Medical Assistant, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our clinic and providing high-quality care to our patients.

This is how your journey and day-to-day will look like:

• Assist healthcare providers with patient examinations and pulmonary procedures.
• Gather and document vital signs, medical histories, and relevant respiratory information.
• Prepare and maintain clean, organized, and well-stocked examination rooms.
• Administer medications, including inhalers and nebulizers, as directed by healthcare providers.
• Educate patients on managing respiratory conditions like asthma, COPD, and other lung diseases.
• Provide clear instructions on medications, treatments, and lifestyle changes to support lung health.
• Handle administrative duties such as scheduling appointments, answering calls, and maintaining patient records.
• Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations, clinic policies, and safety standards.
• Collaborate with pulmonologists, respiratory therapists, and other healthcare professionals to deliver comprehensive care.
• Always maintain patient confidentiality and privacy with the highest level of professionalism.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Completion of a Medical Assistant program from an accredited institution.
• Certification as a Medical Assistant (CMA) or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) preferred.
• Previous experience working as a Medical Assistant in a clinical setting preferred.
• Knowledge of medical terminology, procedures, and protocols.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Basic computer skills and proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems.
• Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish preferred but not required.
• Must have experience in pulmonary medicine.

• Hourly Rate: $20–$21 per hour.
