This position, based in Eatonton, GA and Gray, GA, is ideal for a dynamic sales professional who thrives in a hands-on sales environment and is keen to engage with customers face-to-face. Please note, this is not a remote job and requires the successful candidate to be actively present at the location to engage with our client base.
As a Sales Specialist at Outdoor Options, you will play a crucial role in guiding customers through their purchase journey by providing expert advice and tutorials on our premium range of outdoor storage solutions and carports. This role is perfect for someone who is driven to exceed sales targets and wishes to grow their career within a supportive and expansive company environment.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Engage directly with customers to determine their storage and shelter needs and recommend solutions that best fit their requirements.
- Drive sales through effective communication of product features and benefits.
- Utilize CRM tools to track interactions, sales progress, and client information.
- Follow up with leads and referrals generated by the company and through your own network.
- Participate in local events and trade shows to promote the company’s products and foster brand awareness.
- Provide excellent customer service and follow-up post-sale to ensure satisfaction and encourage future business.
- Maintain an up-to-date understanding of industry trends and local market conditions.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to create and maintain sales materials and product presentations.
- Assist in the planning and execution of sales strategies developed by sales management.
Requirements
- Proven success in sales—or a strong desire to succeed in this field.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
- Able to effectively balance independence and teamwork to achieve sales goals.
- Strong attention to detail and competence with CRM and other sales-related software.
- Availability to work Monday-Friday (8:30am-5pm) and Saturdays (10am-2pm).
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation as this position may require travel to local client sites and events.
- Previous experience in sales or customer service in related fields preferred, but not mandatory.
- Physical ability to engage with various sales activities including outdoor demonstrations and setup for displays at events.
- Resilience and adaptability, with a capacity to handle challenges calmly and methodically.
