HUMAN TOUCH HOME HEALTH CARE is seeking a detail-oriented and organized Care Home Data Entry Clerk to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for accurately entering and maintaining resident data, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, and supporting the overall administrative functions of our care home.

Key Responsibilities:

• Accurately input resident information into the database, including personal details, medical records, and care plans.
• Maintain and update resident files, ensuring all data is current and compliant with HIPAA regulations.
• Assist in generating reports for management, including admissions, discharges, and resident statistics.
• Support the admissions process by collecting and verifying necessary documentation.
• Collaborate with nursing and administrative staff to ensure smooth communication and data sharing.
• Perform regular audits of data to ensure accuracy and completeness.
• Respond to inquiries related to resident data and assist staff in accessing information.
• Provide general administrative support as needed, including filing and organizing documents.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent; additional education in healthcare administration or data management is a plus.
• Proven experience in data entry or administrative roles, preferably in a healthcare or care home setting.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and data management software.
• Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Understanding of HIPAA regulations and patient confidentiality.
