We are a premier grower of indoor and outdoor plants providing annual, perennial, floral, and holiday plants. We are one of the largest tropical and foliage growers in the Midwest. Located on the west side of Kansas City, we are geographically centered to deliver to independent garden centers, grocery stores, and big box stores, throughout the Midwest.

Position: We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Accounts Receivable Administrative Assistant to support daily operations while taking ownership of accounts receivable responsibilities. This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a dynamic environment and is eager to work in a flexible part-time or full-time position.

Responsibilities:

  • Accounts Receivable
  • Manage and process customer invoices, payments, and account statements.
  • Monitor outstanding balances and follow up with customers on overdue accounts.
  • Reconcile accounts and prepare financial reports as needed.
  • Work closely with the accounting team to ensure accurate record-keeping and compliance
  • Administrative Support
  • Handle general office tasks such as answering calls, managing emails, and maintaining records.
  • Assist with customer and vendor communications.

Requirements:

  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook) and accounting software.
  • Familiarity with Electronic Data Interchange (EDI)
  • Prior experience in administrative support and accounts receivable is preferred.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently while being a team player.

Salary: $20- $21 per hourHours: 30-40 hours a week; flexible
