Position: General Laborer

AMS Enterprises is excited to announce a vacancy in our dynamic team for the position of General Laborer. We are seeking a dedicated individual to join our operations at our facility located in the heart of the industrial area. This full-time position encompasses a variety of tasks that are crucial for the smooth operation of our services and production lines. This is an on-site, physical role that involves handling various general labor tasks within the company premises, confirming that this is not a remote job opportunity.

The ideal candidate for this position will be someone who is motivated, eager to learn, and ready to work in a fast-paced environment. Candidates should be prepared to support different departments as needed which includes but is not limited to production, warehousing, and logistics. Your work will play a significant role in ensuring that operational activities are executed efficiently and effectively.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Assist in loading and unloading materials and merchandise from incoming vehicles and stack them to assigned places.
• Locate and move stock of products to pallets or crates for storage or shipment.
• Identify damages and report shortages or quality deficiencies.
• Help maintain a safe and orderly environment of the facilities.
• Assist customers by providing physical assistance with their purchases and orders.
• Place orders for necessary supplies as directed by supervisors.
• Assemble product components as per company guidelines and quality standards.
• Operate and maintain preventively warehouse vehicles and equipment.
• Follow quality service standards and comply with procedures, rules, and regulations.
• Perform other general labor duties as assigned by management.

Requirements

• No experience required; on-the-job training will be provided.
• Ability to operate general warehouse machinery.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Capability to physically stand, bend, squat, and lift up to 50 pounds.
• Must be capable of working in a paced environment that requires a high degree of multi-tasking with minimal supervision.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Must have the ability to read and write English, follow verbal instructions and use simple math.
• Legally eligible to work in the country in which the position is located.
