This full-time position is perfect for someone passionate about dental health and looking to work hands-on ensuring quality care and efficient service delivery within our dynamic dental practice. Please note, this is not a remote job and requires your presence at Divine Dental of North Scottsdale, conveniently located on Scottsdale Road just south of the 101 freeway.

Our office hours run from Monday-Thursday 9am to 4pm and Fridays 9am to 3pm, ensuring a work-life balance well-suited to our team members.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Oversee daily front office operations and ensure smooth running of all dental office activities.
  • Coordinate appointments and scheduling to maximize efficiency and patient satisfaction.
  • Manage patient billing, execute insurance verifications, and handle claims effectively.
  • Ensure compliance with all health care regulations, including HIPAA.
  • Maintain and organize patient records and documentation for easy accessibility and reference.
  • Develop and implement office policies and procedures to improve overall practice efficiency.
  • Communicate effectively with both patients and team members to align operations with patient needs and staff availability.
  • Monitor office supplies and work with vendors to ensure essential items are always available.
  • Provide training and support to new staff members and foster a welcoming and supportive environment for all colleagues.
  • Prepare financial statements and handle budgeting duties for the dental office.
  • Manage patient relations and resolve any issues that arise to maintain a favorable practice reputation.
  • Collaborate with dental care providers and assist in integrating new technology or techniques into the workplace.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in dental front office management, including billing, insurance verification, scheduling, and treatment coordination.
  • Proficiency with dental office software, preferably Open Dental; training available if not already proficient.
  • Strong organizational and administrative skills to effectively manage multiple responsibilities in a busy environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, ensuring clear and positive interactions with both patients and staff.
  • Ability to lead and motivate a team, fostering a collaborative and efficient workplace.
  • Knowledge of dental terminology and procedures to communicate effectively with staff and patients.
