Position Responsibilities and Duties:
- Communicate & schedule w/ painters & customers
- Direct all painters to achieve completion of the projects on schedule, within the man hours budgeted for this project
- Ability to hire & fire
- Give reviews & raises
- Maintain equipment & warehouse (sprayers, generators, etc.)
- Be proficient in scaffolding, swing stage & high reach equipment
- Ability to read blueprints
- Ability to manage up to 30 people (foremen & painters)
- Lead and participate in safety training
- Ability to maintain inventory for projects; order materials and avoid over-ordering.
- Manage conflict – identify root cause and address promptly
Skills/Qualifications Requirements:
- Valid Driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Experience in commercial painting w/ paint & primers, brush/roll & spray techniques
- Prior management experience of paint crews
- Strong organizational skills in field and office
- Solid written and verbal communication skills (English & Spanish a plus)
- Proficient in Microsoft office, timekeeping & scheduling software
- Able to work evenings and weekends when necessary
- Reliable, self-motivated, professional
- Preferred:
- English and Spanish speaking
