Store Barricade Framing Carpenter/Painter Duties & Responsibilities:

• Measures, marks, and cuts lumber to build temporary walls in shopping centers
• Nails lumber together
• Assembles plywood wall panels
• Reads and interprets blueprints or sketches to determine the layout of building frames
• Prime and paint the temporary walls after building

Store Barricade Framing Carpenter/Painter Requirements:

• Prior experience as a Framing Carpenter, Painter or related field
• Math and measurement skills
• Ability to work efficiently and independently while meeting deadlines
• Valid driver’s license
• Knowledge of commonly used tools and equipment in the construction industry (e.g., nail guns, hammers, saws)
• Flexible schedule with the ability to work overtime when needed (e.g., evenings, weekends) to meet project deadlines and demands from clients/customers. Overnight shifts are common.
