New Harvest Therapy Services is excited to announce a career opportunity for a dedicated and skilled Mental Health Therapist in the fields of Psychology, Marriage and Family Therapy (LMFT), Licensed Clinical Social Work (LCSW), or Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC). Pre-licensed candidates will also be considered based on experience. This position is designed for professionals seeking to foster therapeutic change in a flexible, dynamic work environment. This role offers a Full-Time schedule with the option for a Work-From-Home (WFH) setup, providing considerable flexibility to accommodate personal and professional demands. As a Mental Health Therapist at New Harvest Therapy Services, you will have the opportunity to make a significant impact on our clients’ lives, helping them to improve mental health and overall well-being.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Evaluate clients through detailed conversations, interviews, and observations to determine the appropriate testing or examination.
  • Develop effective treatment plans that detail the client's needs, goals, and the therapeutic strategies implemented.
  • Provide individual, family, and couples psychotherapy using evidence-based methodologies tailored to client need.
  • Complete comprehensive client diagnoses and collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure integrated care delivery.
  • Facilitate group therapy sessions that focus on specific therapeutic goals and client needs.
  • Support clients through crisis management situations by providing direct intervention and coordinating with other health services.
  • Maintain accurate and timely client records through our electronic medical records system, ensuring confidentiality and compliance with all legal and professional standards.
  • Engage in continuous professional development to stay current with best practices in mental health therapy.
  • Conduct psychoeducational activities to enhance the understanding of mental health issues within the community.
  • Participate in team meetings and contribute to the multi-disciplinary team by sharing expertise and insights.

Requirements

  • Master's or doctoral degree in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, or a related mental health field.
  • Valid and current Indiana state license as a Psychologist, LMFT, LCSW, or LMHC.
  • Pre-licensed candidates will also be considered based on experience.
  • Minimum of two years' clinical experience, including internships or supervised placements.
  • Must possess exceptional clinical skills, including assessment, intervention, and therapy.
  • Provide individual/evidence-based psychotherapy, assessment, treatment, discharge, and safety planning, and documentation.
  • Complete client diagnosis and treatment plans.
  • Completes initial client intakes which includes client history, a mental status exam, presenting problems, and treatment plan.
  • Complete all documentation collaboratively in the electronic medical records system.
  • Strong ability to work independently, maintain professionalism, and support a holistic approach to psychological therapy.
  • Skilled in time management, flexibility, effective communication, and maintaining confidentiality.
  • Experience in crisis intervention and ability to handle high-pressure situations.
  • Commitment to ongoing professional development and training.

Lastly, New Harvest Therapy provides all therapists with much needed tools to engage clients in therapy. We have several larger therapy rooms for family and group sessions. We have a fully stocked craft room, with activities for adults to children as young as 8 years old. We offer numerous therapeutic tools and games to provide therapist's options for interventions to meet their client's needs. We continually resupply, update, and explore innovative treatment techniques and tools to add to our library and craft room in order to offer the best clinical interventions possible to our clients.
