This integral role involves crafting high-quality dental prostheses including dentures and partials with precision and skill. As an Entry-Level Removable Lab Technician, you will be trained in the basics of fabricating removable dental prosthetics, including dentures and partials. You’ll work alongside experienced technicians and learn the skills necessary to advance in this specialized field. The position offers a great opportunity for individuals passionate about dental technology and patient care to grow professionally in a laboratory setting. We value craftsmanship and attention to detail, aiming to provide our clients with the best possible outcomes. Please note that this position is not remote and requires the technician to be present at the lab for designated work hours.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Read and interpret dental prescriptions and work orders from dentists and other dental professionals.

  • Utilize molds of patients' teeth or oral soft tissues to create accurate models for removable dental appliances.

  • Work with a variety of materials to craft the dental appliances.

  • Maintain accurate records of the design specifications and the materials used for each project.

  • Regularly clean and maintain equipment and tools used in the creation of removable dental devices.

  • Stay updated on the latest trends, tools, and technologies in the dental technology field.

  • Ensure that all safety and sanitation standards are strictly adhered to in the lab environment.

  • Participate in training sessions to learn new techniques and improve your skills.

  • Collaborate with other team members to complete tasks efficiently and meet deadlines.

Requirements

  • Technical diploma or certification in Dental Technology, preferably with a focus on removable prosthetics is preferred.

  • Detailed understanding of dental anatomy and the physiological movements of the jaw and mouth.

  • Expertise in working with different materials used in the fabrication of dental prostheses is preferred.

  • Strong hand-eye coordination and dexterity necessary for intricate technical work.

  • Capable of interpreting complex dental prescriptions and technical instructions.

  • Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to crafting high-quality dental appliances.

  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team setting, sharing skills and learning from peers.

  • Excellent time management skills and the capacity to handle multiple tasks simultaneously under tight deadlines.

  • Commitment to ongoing professional development and staying updated with the latest industry standards and technology advances.

  • Entry-level candidates must show a strong foundational knowledge of dental lab technology and exhibit a desire to focus on removable dental prosthetics.
