Salary Range:  $18 - $21 hour

Congregation Kol Ami – Office Assistant

We are seeking a programming and project assistant to work alongside our busy support staff and become an important member of our team. An ideal candidate is organized, able to multi-task well, comfortable with technology, and has a positive attitude.

Knowledge of Jewish traditions and observances is not required.

This is a full-time 40-hour position with benefits included.

Responsibilities include:

  • Assist with admin tasks, event logistics, and office support
  • Help set up, clean up, and host events and programs
  • Researching for vendors, price comparisons, items, and venues.
  • Coordinate volunteers
  • Track and order supply and kitchen inventory
  • Prepare correspondence, reports, and spreadsheets
  • Liaison with vendors to schedule work, repairs, etc.

Job Requirements:

  • Availability on evenings and weekends as needed
  • Ability to multitask, and work in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to lift up to 30 pounds
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Computer skills, preferably Google Suite, Asana
  • Experience in managing projects and/or events
  • Professional demeanor and attitude
  • Willing to step in and help where needed
  • Minimum High school degree or GED, college or associate's degree preferred
  • Minimum 3 years office experience preferred

Must maintain confidentiality and workplace security awareness
