Customer Account Specialist - Dental Lab (Inside Sales/Outbound Cold Calls to Market Dental Lab Products)

The largest privately-owned Dental Laboratory in Tennessee, Mississippi, and Arkansas is hiring a Customer Account Specialist. The Customer Account Specialist cultivates a strong working relationship with R-Dent's new and current customers in order to sell R-Dent's dental products, implement marketing promotions, and resolve technical issues to maximize customer satisfaction and retention.

Compensation: starting at $21/hour plus monthly sales incentive opportunity

Schedule: Monday-Thursday 8:30am-4:30pm (with one-hour lunch) (shift hours may be adjusted to 8:00am-4:00pm or 9:00am-5:00 pm).

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Maintains and grows R-Dent's sales by effectively communicating with new/current/former customers to build strong working relationships, gain business, offer support, resolve technical case issues, and implement marketing promotions.
  • Handles at least 8-10 calls per hour, including handling existing accounts, orienting new doctors, and establishing other sales leads.
  • Orients new doctors by sending welcome packets, assisting with portal set-up online, and working with the new doctor's team to ensure a flawless transition to R-Dent.
  • Utilizes excellent customer service skills (eg LAMA and Soft-sell techniques) while promptly handling high volume of calls and other inquiries (eg social media, emails, etc.) in a professional manner according to policies to ensure high customer satisfaction.
  • Researches sales leads to promote growth of customer base.
  • Provides administrative support as needed, including answering calls, checking on ship dates, offering information on products, updating new account information, and inputting call notes and customer requests into internal software.
  • Checks voicemails and returns calls in timely manner, and returns messages (eg social media, texts, emails) in a timely manner.
  • Serves as a liaison between other departments, including logistics, technical advisors, and managers.
  • Supports the Director of Sales & Marketing with social media marketing, including designing marketing sell sheets, taking photos or video for social media content, and reaching customers remotely via Teams/Zoom.

Qualifications:

  • Must possess excellent customer service experience and passion for customer service.
  • Must have at least one year of inside sales experience making outbound cold calls via telephone, but 2-5 years of experience is preferred.
  • Must have great phone voice and be able to speak professionally with proper grammar while building the customer's trust and confidence.
  • Must be able to follow company guidelines and policies and build trusting relationships with clients to help build accounts.
  • Must be able to read, write, interpret prescriptions, problem solve, understand our dental products, and use computer software and multi-line phones.
  • Must be able to timely handle customer matters with professional attitude.
  • Prefer candidate with experience in social media marketing, design of marketing sell sheets, taking photos or video for social media content, and reaching customers remotely via Teams/Zoom.
  • Must be at least eighteen years of age and have high school diploma or equivalent.
