Job Overview:We are seeking detail-oriented individuals to join our team as Beverage Production and Packaging Technicians. This role is crucial in ensuring the consistency and quality of our hemp beverages. Responsibilities include mixing beverage formulations accurately and cleaning unitanks to maintain high sanitation standards. Legally Highest provides comprehensive training and encourages growth within the industry.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Operate and monitor the beverage fill line
- Ensure a continuous supply of cans to the production line
- Conduct regular quality control checks
- Maintain equipment cleanliness in compliance with GMP (General Manufacturing Practices) standards
- Safely and efficiently operate heavy packaging machinery
- Handle maintenance and repair of packaging machinery
- Follow company policies and safety guidelines
- Work collaboratively with other technicians and production staff
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Strong attention to detail and precision
- Ability to follow detailed instructions and procedures
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to lift and move heavy materials as needed
- Ability to perform repetitive tasks and maintain focus over long periods
- Capability to safely move 150-lb pallets
- Ability to stand and walk for 8-12 hours (with mandatory breaks as per federal/state law) and perform other physical tasks
- Flexible schedule with availability for occasional long hours or overnight stays, depending on brewery schedules
- Dedication to hard work with a positive attitude, attention to detail, and self-motivation
- Quick adaptability to evolving procedures and processes
- Knowledge of beer and brewing is advantageous
Educational and Experience Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Previous experience in a manufacturing or production environment preferred but not required
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to stand or walk continuously
- Frequent bending, squatting, climbing stairs, and lifting
- Ability to occasionally lift up to 50 pounds
- Capability to push/pull up to 800 pounds on wheels
- Perform repetitive motion tasks in canning line operations
- Exposure to moving mechanical parts and various conditions at job sites, including loud noise, temperature fluctuations, and confined spaces
Compensation and Benefits:
- Hourly wage: $15-$18
