GKY Dental Arts Inc. is a small-owned dental laboratory located in the city of Torrance, CA that places an emphasis on providing thorough and highly personalized dental services and products to clinicians. The products and services we offer are crowns, bridges, metal-free restorations, removables, implants, guided surgeries, and shade matching. We are dedicated to helping smaller dental practices have their needs met through creating and perfecting these products and providing these services.

Job Summary:

Under general supervision, our driver picks up and then delivers completed cases to local accounts and nearby dental offices. Performs a variety of miscellaneous tasks and errands which require some physical labor. The ideal candidate must have moderate delivery services or courier experience. This role will be classified as an Independent Contractor with a set amount of pay and no benefits. The schedule is 10am-2pm.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

• None.

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Picks up and drops off cases at local doctor's offices, and at our Removables department in the city of Gardena. 

Required Skills/Abilities:

• Ability to follow instructions from supervisors.
• Ability to operate a motor vehicle and familiarity with using navigation systems.
• Excellent communication and time management skills.
• Geographical knowledge of the South Bay and Los Angeles area for expediting deliveries and pickups. Areas include cities of Beverly Hills, West LA, Santa Monica, Gardena, Hermosa, Redondo, and Manhattan Beach. 
• Will be required to use personal car to perform job duties. Reimbursement for gasoline and mileage is available.
• Must have authorization to work in the United States. 
• Must have a reliable vehicle to operate. 

Education and Experience:

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Most possess a valid California Driver's License and have an acceptable driving record with vehicle insurance.
• Have customer service experience and willingness to learn. 

Physical Requirements:

• Prolonged periods standing and walking.
• Excellent vision and hand-eye coordination to stay safe while driving.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at a time.
