Located at our on-site facilities, this full-time position offers an engaging opportunity for individuals looking to start their career in shipping and handling within a well-established dental laboratory setting. This role is instrumental in managing the crucial flow of incoming and outgoing dental products and supplies. As this is an on-site position, please note that it is NOT a remote job.

Our shipping and receiving department plays a pivotal role in our operations, managing everything from the reception of dental impressions to the dispatch of final products. Duties and Responsibilities
- Receive and check incoming packages, ensuring accurate handling and documentation.
- Disinfect incoming dental impressions using prescribed safety protocols and chemicals, such as Cavicide.
- Prepare and pack outgoing dental restorations according to set guidelines to prevent damage during transit.
- Maintain clean and organized work areas to uphold strict hygiene standards.
- Maintain inventory of supplies and materials required for efficient operation of the shipping department.
- Assist in inventory control, including counting and replenishing stock as required.
- Utilize software systems for data entry and tracking of shipments and inventory.
- Cooperate with team members and other departments to ensure timely delivery of services.
- Participate in regular training and team meetings to enhance job performance and awareness of safety procedures.
- Support other related tasks as needed to ensure operational flow and meet departmental goals.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and regularly lift objects up to 30 pounds.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Basic proficiency with computer systems for data entry and shipment tracking.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team environment.
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Prior experience in shipping and receiving or a related field is preferred but not required.
- Willingness to undergo training and adhere to health and safety guidelines at all times.
